Want coffee?

Woops is that me drinking coffee? Ha, ha! I'm just joking. I was just pretending to drink my Mommy's coffee. I hate coffee. I only like hot chocolate. Do you see the gold man above? He was pretending to be a statue on Robson Street. He was pretty funny. He would shake people's hands and not let go unless they put more money in. I didn't dare go near him. He looked a little scary to me.

On my way to the church

I went to the church that my Goo Ja is getting married at to practice again. I'm getting better and I think I know what I'm doing. I really don't know why Mommy & Daddy want me to practice so much. They keep saying "practice makes perfect".

Lunch with Po Po

I stayed overnight with Yee Ma last night and we had lunch with Po Po & Yee Ma today. Here we are in the car driving Po Po back home. I had a really good sleep over. I might have a sleep over again very soon.

Balance

My instructor asked us to take turns and get onto this board tonight. We have to try to keep balanced on the board but she gave it a little shake...and boom I fell into the water. Why does she always do that? Can someone ask her to stop that?

Can you believe that these bikers almost made me late for my swimming class? They blocked off Broadway and they wouldn't let anyone cross the street. I was kind of getting frustrated but luckily I had my Mommy & Daddy there to cheer me up. I ended up getting there just in time but I did have to rush to get dressed.

My Olympic Mascots

Do you like Sumi and Quatchi? They are my Olympic mascots. I was pretending to go to sleep here so my Mommy wanted to take a picture of it. I don't normally go to sleep like this but I wanted to surprise my Mommy.

My 2nd attempt

How do you like my 2nd attempt? I think this time you can really read what I was writing. I really love my Mommy & Daddy. They always tell me that they love me so I really wanted to tell them this time.

I love swimming at the pool. I always have a great time there. Do you see me pretending to surf on a surfboard? Mommy tells me that there aren't very many places to surf around here. I'll have to check into that.

Did I spell it right?

Can you tell what I was trying to write here? I was trying to write "I Love You". This was my first attempt on my own. I'll get some help from Mommy later.

Do you like my t-shirt?

Do you like my new t-shirt? My Goo Ja bought it for me from Hawaii. I hope you can read it. I'm really starting to like these souvenirs that everyone brings back from holidays.

Practice makes perfect

Did you know that I'm going to be the ring bearer for my Goo Ja's wedding? It's coming up soon so Mommy & Daddy thought it might be a good idea to go to the church to practice. This is my Daddy & me walking down the aisle. The last photo is of me leaving the church. By the time I left the church I was getting better.

Water ballons...

I love water balloons. I've been wanting some water balloons for a very long time. Mommy & Daddy finally bought me some. The balloons are red (my favourite colour) and they are the perfect size for my hands. I had a great time smashing them on the ground...that's what you are supposed to do with them-right?

You be the judge...

Do you think this is a pail or a hat? Just joking. This is my new pail for the sandbox. I love playing in the sandbox so that's why my Mommy & Daddy bought it for me. They said it was also a present for swimming well. If I keep up the good job then will I get more presents? I hope so.

What do you need for swimming?

You need many things to go swimming...you need flip flops, swimming trunks, goggles, towels and lots of energy. I have lots of energy...at least that's what Mommy says. I like jumping into the pool and splashing the water everywhere. It's tons of fun. We had the pool mostly to ourselves tonight. I like it this way so I can swim wherever I want...without having to watch out for other people. I can't wait to go again.

New Hat

This is my new hat. Po Po and Gung Gung bought it as a souvenir for me from New Zealand. They went on a cruise to New Zealand and Australia earlier this year. Do you think it looks too small? My Mommy tells me that my head is kind of big for a little kid like me.

My adventures at Vanier Park

I'm here at Vanier Park. I had a really great time. Today was the last day of the Children's Festival. I wanted to go inside again but I already went on a field trip earlier in the week. We actually came here to ride my bike and fly a kite. We did both. I actually met a little friend here, Julian. I was teaching him to slide down this plaque. His Daddy even taught me to play frisbee. We had a great time.

Lunch with my Godmother

I had lunch with my Godmother today. We went for pho (Vietnamese noodles). It was really good. I shared a bowl with my Mommy but I ended up eating most of it. It was so yummy that I couldn't resist. They even had cartoons on tv there. What more can you ask for?

I love to swim

I really love going to our pool for a swim. It was great fun and we had the pool to ourselves for most of the time we were there. My back glides are getting better and my roll overs have really improved. I just don't like swimming on my front very much. I'll have to get more practice.

Dim Sum on Mother's Day

We had dim sum with my Godmother today. I wished her a Happy Mother's Day too. We ordered so much food that the entire table was covered with dim sum dishes. I should have taken a picture of the table but I was too busy eating to stop. I'll remember next time. Do you like my backpack? My Godmother bought it for me a while ago. I really love it. Did you know that Sumi is hiding inside of it? Sumi is one of the mascots from the 2010 Olympics. He's really cute.

At the playground

My Mommy & Daddy brought me to this playground. Can you see the fire truck? I pretended to drive it for a while. I met a couple of new friends while I was there. This is Tyler and me climbing up this web of rope. We played hide and go seek too. I had such a fun time with Tyler and his sister. I hope I bump into them again one day.

Mother's Day Tea at School

I invited my Mommy to Mother's Day Tea at my school. She had a really great time. We had strawberries, juice and cake that the older children made. Yummy! I gave all my strawberries to my Mommy. The only time I like strawberries is in sundaes. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Btw, this is my friend Rauna. We shared a table with her and her Mommy today. Happy Mother's Day Mommy.

Happy Birthday Yee Ma

My Yee Ma's birthday was on April 29th. Happy Birthday Yee Ma. We celebrated it this past weekend. First we went over to my Grandparents house and I helped water the flowers. Then we went out for dinner and we had mango cake for dessert. Yee Ma even let me help her blow out her candle. It was so yummy!
